The day didn’t go at all like I thought or hoped it would.  It was another of those long frustrating days.  I never get as much done as I think I should, but I did get several more boxes packed.  I had to push myself to not worry about the boxes, but find areas to sort for things for the yardsale.  I have amassed an impressive pile!!   But no help turned up at all.  By late afternoon I suspected TGF was only going to bring DGS15 over in time for me to feed him.  And I was right. 

We both asked him to please go out to the barn to pull out a few things .. but he didn’t.  I suppose it’s just as well, since it’s starting out gray and thundery and the forecast for today is stormy.  I guess I’ll end up going out there Friday morning, and just hope there are no spiders or snakes.

I’m finding it extraordinarily frustrating that DSS (and DGS15 helping him) were glad to go out to the banr, snoop around to see what was there, and retrieve all the power tools.  They made a point of telling us about all the nasty things out there.  And yet they have no problem with me – with my poor vision – going out to get things that they refuse to bother getting for me.  Why?  Well, because there are spiders and snakes and things.  I guess there’s some logic or something in there somewhere.

Since TGF did see how much stuff there is to be priced and boxed ready for transport on Friday, hopefully she will get here today before too late.  She has to deal with some paperwork at the bank first, so I doubt she’ll get here before mid morning. 

I slept better last night.  I was up by 6:00.  I don’t feel sleepy, but I do feel a bit listless.  I think I’ll watch the news a bit and then get in the shower.  Later, after DGS wakes up, I’ll get him to help me dig through the lower kitchen cabinets that are hard to reach .. something I can be working on until TGF gets here.
